With MapLink-Plugin it is possible to create at the JCE editor a Link that links a address with Google-Maps.
The Google map will open in a lightbox, in addition the address is displayed as a tooltip.

The MapLink-Plugin will installed at Joomla-Backend with the JCE-Component. The different Lightbox versions included as Joomla-Plugins.

The MapLink-Plugin is for the JCE Versions 1.1 / 1.5 / 2.0, as well for Joomla 1.0 / 1.5 / 1.6 / 1.7.
But the original Plugin, for JCE 1.1 and Joomla 1.0, only included for the sake of completeness. Because it is to old and therefore the development stopped.
