OscarLib is a reusable library for accessing the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) and ICQ networks.
The Library uses the Net-Framework 2.0 and was deployed in our Icq-Gadget.

OSCAR, "Open System for Communication in Realtime" is the internal name that identifies the "Instant Messenger" protocol, of which are several versions available.

The Library is available under the GNU LGPL(Lesser General Public License) License Version 2.1.
The original is from Ardently Gnarly and can be downloaded from shaim.net.

Our rebuilded/reworked version contains:
  • New Features, e.g. display all userdetails and edit the own, ......
  • Fix Bugs, e.g. Filetransfer, .....
  • Replaced original parts, e.g. Date to Byte-Array, .....
